The Chimera Max

The Chimera Max builds on the Chimera by enabling the use of electrochemical sensors. Designed to capture gas composition at low flows from 15 different inlets, the max is our most advanced gas monitor with 4 base sensors: CO₂, CH₄ and an additional two electrochemical¹ sensors of your choice.

Electrochemical sensors require a constant stream of gas flow to record accurate readings. We designed the chimera max to collect accurate results for these sensors even under low flow conditions.

In the past, lab-scale biogas setups such as BMP have lagged behind industrial plants in gas composition readings. The challenge of only producing low flows has meant that all gas composition options always present a compromise: whether it's infrequent data readings (gas bags), washing of important gases (H₂S, CO₂...) or complicated procedure (GC). The Chimera eliminates these issues by providing a convenient and easy to operate machine that measures gas composition online, semi-continuously and across up to 15 channels.

Connect up to 15 channels online and the Chimera will automatically switch between them. No more individual gas bag testing.

Semi-continuous data

Capture the full dynamics of your gas composition, even in low flow BMP tests. Providing accurate readings with just 50ml/hour flow rate, you get more data points even with low gas production.

Online Gas Flow

Connect the Chimera online to your digester setup, via gas hose connection. The Chimera connects directly to your source or gas measuring device and doesn't require gas bag collection. Compatible with any reactor setup.
